Can you Dance with one leg?

This is phenomenal!!  As long as the spirit is intact, the body will follow.

Emotional Pollution

Did you ever wonder why people swear?  It is kind of strange that the emphatic use of 4 letters words can have such an impact on us, both the person using them and the person hearing them.  I was taught early on not to swear because I’m a good girl.  Then I decided to experiment with swearing because I didn’t want to be TOO good.

I’ve come to the conclusion that swearing is a form of emotional pollution.  I thought I would feel better if I swore.  I figured the words would act as a package, a garbage bag, full of my nasty feelings and dump them into the emotional wasteland.  Well, just like with material garbage, emotions linger even if they are out of sight.  Swearing didn’t make me feel better.  In fact, it made me feel worse.  Also, from my own experience being around people who swear, I most likely contaminated other people during my experiment.  They may not recognize it as contamination because they are so toxic from their own and other’s negativity.

Laughter is emotional humus: rich, hearty, gratifying.  Recycle the energy of anger into a few good hearty laughs at the expense of life’s ridiculousness and you will see what I mean!!

It is always good to let emotions out before they bottle up and explode, but I would suggest changing the emotions before letting them out.  Add to the emotional garden  of abundance rather than the wasteland.
